How It Works
Hand Tracking Controls
Pug's Hunt uses your webcam to track your hand movements in real-time. No special hardware required - just your computer's built-in camera or any USB webcam.
🎯 Aiming Hand
Your dominant hand controls the crosshair. Simply point your index finger at the screen, and the cursor will follow the tip of your finger. The camera view is mirrored, so moving your hand right moves the cursor right.
👌 Trigger Hand
Your other hand acts as the trigger. Pinch your thumb and index finger together to fire a shot. There's a small cooldown between shots to prevent spam-firing.
🖱️ Mouse Fallback
Don't have a camera? No problem! You can also play using your mouse. Move to aim, click to shoot.
The Technology
We use MediaPipe's hand tracking model, which runs entirely in your browser. Your camera feed never leaves your device - all processing happens locally for maximum privacy and minimal latency.
